Dear Fellow Band Directors & Music Educators,
Are you looking for an opportunity to make great music with fellow music educators without taking up time on a consistent basis? Join us and play in the CROSSROADS WIND SYMPHONY!
Conducted by Paul W. Popiel, Dean of the School of Music, University of Kansas
Crossroads Wind Symphony Information:
- We have scheduled 4-5 concerts for the upcoming concert year. Each concert typically has only 2 rehearsals to prepare for the concert.
- You can commit to concert cycles based on your schedule!
- We ask that if you commit to performing on a concert, you can be present at both rehearsals.
- Concerts will be at the KU Lied Center in Lawrence, KS or in the Kansas City Metro Area.
- Please share this information with any band directors within driving distance of the Lawrence/Kansas City area (Kansas or Missouri)! Music educators tend to be the busiest people on the planet, and we want to have as many quality people on our list as possible so that we can keep a balanced instrumentation.
